About Mr. Gordon

Justin L. Gordon carries forward a powerful legacy as a third-generation plaintiff's trial lawyer. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, with particular emphasis on personal injury, discrimination, employment law, and insurance bad faith cases. At the heart of his work lies a commitment to combatting corporate malfeasance and insurance industry abuse.

Mr. Gordon's dedication to worker and consumer advocacy took root during his undergraduate years at California State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Studies and Public Policy. As an officer of the Labor Studies Students Association and Teacher’s Assistant to the department Dean, he immersed himself in labor activism, participating in demonstrations and rallies that would shape his future legal career.

At the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, Mr. Gordon distinguished himself academically, earning multiple Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence. His scholarly work included research on strict products liability applications in residential pesticide use. Demonstrating his commitment to community service, he volunteered at the Los Angeles Superior Court's legal self-help center, providing vital assistance to underserved self-represented litigants.

Years into his practice as a lawyer, Mr. Gordon decided to further hone his skills; pursuit of legal excellence led him to Baylor Law School, where he was selected for the inaugural class of the nation's first Master of Laws program in Civil Litigation Strategy and Management. Graduating with an exceptional 3.87/4.0 GPA, he exemplifies the renowned rigor and skill that distinguishes Baylor-trained litigators.

Complementing his legal expertise, Mr. Gordon holds a Professional Certificate in Management from the University of Notre Dame's prestigious Mendoza College of Business, further enhancing his ability to navigate complex litigation and achieve optimal outcomes for his clients.

Mr. Gordon enjoys playing guitar, singing, watching baseball, and family time with his wife, son, and daughter.  He is also a licensed Minister that is legally ordained to officiate marriage ceremonies in the State of California.

His favorite TV shows are M*A*S*H, Punisher (Jon Bernthal), Surviving Escobar (Alias JJ), and LOST. Some of his favorite musicians are Henry Rollins, Bradley Nowell, Talib Kweli, Jerry Garcia, Isaac Brock, Miles Davis, Bill Monroe, and Gill Landry. His favorite author is Henry David Thoreau.  Mr. Gordon also enjoys the study and discussion of ancient Greek philosophy.
