About Mr. Gordon

Justin L. Gordon is a third-generation plaintiff‘s trial lawyer. He practices in the field of complex civil litigation, primarily in personal injury, discrimination, employment law, and insurance bad faith.  He fights insurance company cronyism and corporate corruption.

Mr. Gordon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Labor Studies and Public Policy from California State University, where he was an officer of the Labor Studies Students Association and was the Teacher's Assistant to the Dean of the Labor Studies department. He would participate in labor demonstrations and rallies, becoming very passionate about worker and consumer rights. 

After that, Mr. Gordon earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, where he was awarded multiple Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence. He participated in an extensive directed study regarding the application of strict liability to residential pesticide use. Also during law school, Mr. Gordon volunteered at the legal self-help center at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Mr. Gordon decided to continue his legal education while in practice, completing a Master of Laws specialization degree in Civil Litigation Strategy and Management at Baylor Law School. He was chosen as a member of the inaugural class, the first ever of it's kind in the nation, and graduated with a 3.87/4.0 GPA. He also holds a Professional Certificate in Management from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business.

Mr. Gordon enjoys playing guitar, singing, watching baseball, and family time with his wife, son, and daughter.  He is also a licensed Minister that is legally ordained to officiate marriage ceremonies in the State of California.

Mr. Gordon's favorite movies are Lawrence of Arabia, the Godfather (parts 1/2), Casablanca, and Hustle and Flow. His favorite TV shows are M*A*S*H, Punisher (Jon Bernthal), Surviving Escobar (Alias JJ), and LOST. Some of his favorite musicians are Henry Rollins, Bradley Nowell, Talib Kweli, Jerry Garcia, Isaac Brock, Miles Davis, Bill Monroe, and Gill Landry. His favorite author is Henry David Thoreau.  Mr. Gordon also enjoys the study and discussion of ancient Greek philosophy.
